Words of Cheer Bundle by Stampin’ Up! is a great ‘goto’ bundle for Christmas, birthdays or other celebrations. I have concentrated on a Christmas theme in this design and have paired it with foil accented Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper (SDSP). It is stunning. Words of Cheer Card with Whimsy & Wonder SDSP and Basic Borders Dies
We are using Words of Cheer Bundle (MC- p 20), paired with Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper (MC- p 25) and a Basic Borders Dies (AC- p 162) to highlight our greeting.
This design is perfect for our Online and Click & Collect class as well as In person, when we can get together. You can see there is a little stamping on the front of the card. I have used the greeting s from the Words of Cheer Stamp Set. I’ve mixed and matched the stamps to take ‘Sending you’ from one stamp, ‘Christmas’ from another and of course the Cheers Dies add the ‘Cheer’! The additional pieces of foliage and silver dots are all dies cut using the Christmas Cheers Dies.
Here is the inside of the card. It is quite a simple design. I’ve used the large flower stamp and one of the greetings from Words of Cheer Stamp Set.

- Papers: Whimsy & Wonder Specialty DSP, Mint Macaron, Mossy Meadow, Polished Pink and Basic White card stock, Silver Foil.

- Embellishments: White Glittered Organdy Ribbon & die cut dots of Silver Foil (See above).

Measurements
- Card Base: Mossy Meadow, 29.7 x 10.5 cm scored in half at 14.85 cm.
- Card Insert; Basic White 14.5 x 10.1 cm, Whimsy & Wonder SDSP 14.5 x 1.3 cm.
- Scalloped Border: Basic White 14.8 x 5.25 cm.
- SDSP: Whimsy & Wonder 14.8 x 7.6 cm and another Whimsy & Wonder SDSP 14.8 x 1.3 cm
- Embellishments, approx. 20 cm White Glittered Organdy Ribbon.
Directions & Hints
Here are your class kit supplies, but read on below for preparation directions.
- Using Christmas Cheers Dies, die cut ‘cheers’ word in Mossy Meadow, sprigs in Mint Macaron, ‘cheers’ letters in Polished Pink (it’s one die and easy to cut), and silver dots. Once again, it is one die and easy to use. The sprigs are also grouped!
- Die cut Border using the scalloped Basic Borders Die
Front of Card
- Stamp Greeting on Borders Die cut piece. I used a combination of inks to link with the paper; Mossy Meadow and Polished Pink Ink. You just need to leave room for ‘Cheer’
- Adhere Mossy Meadow ‘Cheer’ to White Border. I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue under the letters and left the foliage free so that I could position and glue the Mint Macaron sprigs later.
- Adhere Polished Pink letters to Mossy Meadow ‘Cheer’.
- Adhere SDSP pieces to card front: stripe on LHS, bauble decoration on RHS and leaving a space in the middle.
- Adhere scalloped Border to card front, butting up to the stripe and overlapping the bauble piece.
- Arrange and adhere Mint Macaron sprigs. I didn’t use all of my sprigs.
- Adhere silver dots with either Fine-tip Glue or Multipurpose Liquid Glue..
- Tie bow and adhere to card front Mini Glue Dot.

Inside of Card
- Adhere SDSP strip to RHS of White insert.
- Stamp decoration and greeting. I stamped the large flower group in Mint Macaron and the greeting in Polished Pink
- Adhere to card base.
