I hope you are all safe & well, warm & dry, connected to power, phone and internet.
The last two weeks have been ‘different’ as we recover from the massive storm that lashed parts of Victoria, including the Dandenong Ranges, surrounding hills & valleys. Many have been without power & communication for days. For some, it will be weeks, even months, before their services are fully restored.
We have seen wonderful generosity and communities working together. Our emergency services, power & telecommunications teams have been working tirelessly to rescue people, clear roads, restore services, do welfare checks, provide food, warmth and shelter. When we are often overwhelmed by bad news, it is life affirming to see the fundamental decency and humanity that surround us.
Pete, Rocky (the beagle) and I have been lucky. We are grateful. We lost a large tree, fencing and had some leaking roof surfaces. Thankfully, the tree missed our home and the woodshed. Our house, fences and the tree were ‘made safe’.
We could still have a hot shower, cook a meal and eat by candlelight in front of our wood heater. Friends charged our battery packs so we could still play music, read a book on our iPads or communicate once signal was restored.
Thankfully, we are now all connected and it’s time to give you the latest Stampin’Up news and share some samples with you.

Kits Collection by Stampin’ Up!
I’m excited to share with you a new line of creative products called the Kits Collection by Stampin’ Up!
Stampin’ Up! has taken the guess work out of creativity and done the hard parts, and you get to do the fun stuff: craft!
The kits are great for the Beginner, Casual or Avid Crafter. Think of them as being a bit like a packet cake mix; perfect for when you need a batch in a hurry. Or, in the case of crafting; great to take when travelling and space is limited as they come in a sturdy box and have all the supplies you need.

It comprises Beauty of Friendship Bundle (stamp set & dies), Beauty of the Earth 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper (DSP) and Bark 3D Embossing Folder. The Suite is lovely.
