Blackberry Beauty & Tailor Made Tags with Stitched Rectangle Card
We added layers and textures using a popped Stitched Rectangle, a Tailor Made Tag, Elegant Faceted Dots and gold twine from Simply Elegant Trim. Simply Elegant Trim contains two spools of metallic twine; one is silver and the other is gold. We are using the gold one as it picks up the gold foiling in the SDSP.
Stitched Rectangle Dies and Tailor Made Tags Dies by Stampin’Up!
Both of these set of dies are ‘Stitched’. The Rectangles dies create stitching on both side of the cutting line to add detail to this card. There is the ‘hint’ of another layer as the base colour of the card base shows when the card is viewed from any angle rather than ‘straight on’. This simple trick adds pizzazz to your creations, without adding extra layers of card stock or DSP.

- Papers: Blackberry Beauty Specialty DSP, Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry and Basic White card stock.
- Inks: Blackberry Bliss and Sahara Sand
- Embellishments: Elegant Faceted Dots OR Genial Gems, Simply Elegant Trim (Gold Twine).
- Tools: Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Cut & Emboss Machine, Paper Trimmer
Measurements
- Card Base: Blackberry Bliss, 29.7 x 10.5 cm scored in half at 14.85 cm.
- Card Insert: Basic White 13.9 x 9.5 cm
- Card Front: Blackberry Beauty SDSP 14.4 x 10.1 cm, die cut with 2nd largest Stitched Rectangle Die.
- Greeting Layer: Basic White die cut with smallest ‘plain’ Tailor Made Tag. Rich Razzleberry cardstock trim.
- Embellishments: approx. 20 cm Elegant Trim (gold twine) and three Elegant Faceted Dots or Genial Gems.
Directions & Hints
Here are your class kit supplies, but read on below for preparation directions.
Front of Card
- Adhere outer Rectangle to card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue
- Adhere inner Rectangle to card front using Dimensionals
- Adhere Rich Razzleberry ‘hole reinforcer/trim’ to Tag
- Stamp your desired greeting on Tag
- Adhere Tag to card front using Dimensionals. You might want to play around with the placement of the Tag to maximise the gold SDSP highlights showing on your card.
- Tie a bow with Simply Elegant Trim (gold twine) and attach to Tag with Mini Glue Dot.
- Adhere Elegant Faceted Dots or Genial Gems.
Inside of Card
- Stamp decoration and greeting. I stamped foliage in Sahara Sand, ‘stamped off’ and the greeting in Blackberry Bliss.
- Adhere to card base.
