It was great fun and a little daunting to browse through the new Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalogue and Sale-a-Bration (SAB) Brochure and prepare your Sneak Peeks.
As as a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator, I am very lucky as I’m able to pre-order products and prepare samples before the catalogues go live. So many beautiful products! Where to start for the Sneak Peek?

Both the July – December Mini Catalogue and Sale-a-Bration (SAB) go live on August 3. The date was pushed back a month to August due to supply issues and International COVID shipping delays.
Many of you will already have your paper copies of the catalogues so you’ll be able to refer to the pages as I’m not able to upload links or product photos just yet. I will be able to do this when the catalogue goes live.

Penguin Place Bundle
One of my first choices was Penguin Place Bundle (p 33) from the Mini Catalogue ($54.75) coordinating beautifully with Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper (p 4) from the Sale-a-Bration Brochure.
Penguin Place Bundle (with 10% saving) includes Penguin Place Photopolymer Stamp Set and Penguin Builder Punch.
Penguin Playmates paper is free with a product order of $90. In my featured designs, I added Subtle Shimmer Sequins ($11.25) Wonderful Snowflakes ($10.50) and Playful Pets Twine AC-140 ($13.00) and some Mini Dimensionals ($6.00).
We don’t have to wait for Christmas to use this bundle. It’s perfect for our cold Victorian weather! My golly! Wouldn’t we all like to go skiing in the beautiful snow and build a snowman or two! I’m not sure if our penguins would make it to the mountains, but they’ll certainly be on our Southern shores.
The gift tags/bookmarks are die cut using Tailormade Tags Dies from the Annual Catalogue. HERE is the link to the product in my 24/7 Online Store.
I fussy cut the critters on the tags from the Penguin Playmates DSP. Stamped and punched Penguins would also look great!

Similar Elements – Different looks
The card bases, Penguin Playmates DSP pieces and Stitched Rectangle are the same; the Fox card is ‘portrait’ layout, while the Penguin and Snowman card is ‘landscape’. There are a few other differences. Can you spot them?
Quick Directions and Supplies.
- Penguin Place Bundle
- Card Bases; Soft Sea Foam 29.7 x 10.5 cm scored at 14.85 cm
- Penguin Playmates DSP stripe: 10.1 x 4.5 cm
- Penguin Playmates DSP dots: 10.1 x 10.1 cm
- Stitched Rectangle; 4th largest die cut in Basic White
- Embellishments are Subtle Shimmer Sequins and Playful Pets Twine
- The swoosh and trees are stamped using Penguin Place Photopolymer Stamp Set in Smoky Slate (swoosh) and Soft Sea Foam (trees).
- Penguin is punched from Penguin Playmates DSP using Penguin Builder Punch. I did give him a little Fresh Freesia bowtie.
- Fox and Snowman are fussy cut from Penguin Playmates DSP
- And lastly, for the ‘fox’ card, I used our retired balloon punch to punch the balloon stamped in Just Jade. the string is stamped in Basic Gray.
