Peaceful Poppies Suite
I knew as soon as I saw Peaceful Poppies Suite in the Mini Catalogue that I would fall in love with it. It’s a beautiful floral suite, comprising two stamp set and dies bundles. It’s super versatile and I just prayed that it would carry over into the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. It does! Here is the direct link to the 2019-2020 Catalogue. Anzac Day
I also knew that the suite would be especially poignant for all of us in the South Pacific Region; perfect for Aussies and Kiwis to remember our Anzacs.
In amongst all the Covid-19 restrictions, we like many, gathered at the end of our driveways with candles and torches before dawn. We wanted to make sure that we were able to take time to remember our Anzacs and pay our respects for their legacy. We are usually at our local RSL Memorial Gardens for the service when the kookaburras herald the dawn, often at the same time as the Last Post. Our Kookaburras were with us again this year.
Here are a couple of photos of the wreath as we were making it. Peter helped me with the circle; he has stronger hands to cut the circle from hard cardboard using a Stanley knife. I used the Poppy Moments Dies; Poppy Parade, Real Red and Black card stock for the red poppies, Granny Apple Green and Garden Green for the leaves. The white and blue poppies are in memory of our four police officers tragically killed just before Anzac Day. I used Whisper White, Blueberry Bushel and Black for these special poppies.

This snazzy fancy fold card using one sheet of DSP and some other bibs and bobs. It was great fun to make!
